Featuring Dixie Fixins Maple Chipotle Dip Mix
Prep: 15 minutes | Cook: 30 minutes | Yield: 6 servings | Difficulty: Easy
Smoky sausage, caramelized Brussels sprouts, sweet apples, and red onion roast together under a maple-chipotle glaze for a complete one-pan supper.
Ingredients
1 packet Dixie Fixins Maple Chipotle Dip Mix, dry
14 ounces smoked sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 firm red apples, cored and cut into wedges
1 medium red onion, cut into wedges
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Heat oven to 425°F. Line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
Place sausage, Brussels sprouts, apples, and onion on the pan.
Whisk olive oil, maple syrup, vinegar, dry Maple Chipotle Dip Mix, and black pepper. Pour over the ingredients and toss well.
Spread everything into a single layer, placing most Brussels sprouts cut-side down.
Roast for 25 to 30 minutes, turning once, until the vegetables are browned and tender and the sausage reaches 165°F.
Dixie Fixins Tip: Choose crisp apples such as Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, or Fuji so the wedges hold their shape. Use two pans rather than crowding one.
Storage: Refrigerate for up to 4 days. Reheat in a 375°F oven or air fryer.
